Default grimmspeed 38mm ewg uppipe review

hello everyone today im reviewing the grimmspeed 38mm ewg uppipe.
the uppipe is coated from grimmspeed and the coating appears to be very good.
we will see though how well it holds up to the heat overtime.i gotta say i love
the thick flanges on this pipe.construction is top notch as are the welds and the inside of the pipe
is nice and smooth.definetly what youd expect from grimmspeed.
id also like to comment how its very nice to be able to buy a readily available up pipe that has the
flange for a ewg rather then having to mod a stock or aftermarket up pipe i think its just great

im also going to enjoy this ewg set up alot because on the outside my car looks completely stock
with my beat up wheels and everything haha im going to enjoy this
i had the stock sti pipe in before so hopefully with the new uppipe and the tial external wastegate ill see some
nice gains!

install done one 2/28/13
the install of the uppipe was very easy i went from the top though as i had my turbo out anyways for my inspection.
overall it will be easier to install this vs stock as it doesnt have gobs of heat shield around it,so it should slide in nice and easy.
i gotta go back to the topic of the flanges again they are nice and thick wich i think helps alot with gasket sealing makes everything tight i love it.

also the position of the ewg flange is great,im pretty convinced this uppipe will fit with any down pipe, currently i have a cnt downpipe, and that cat is right after the bell mouth and that fith with the ewg and dump tube its just freaking great, grimmspeed has a good thing going with these uppipes and there support of the subaru community i hope they continue to support us and continue to release new and exciting products.

i just want to thank everyone at grimmspeed for giving me my perfect solution
you guys are great.

Yeah it's going to depend on the size of the turbo and how much boost you're looking to make

Here is a great article on sizing WG's
