Default whats a good price for a 2009 wrx premium?

Just curious to see what a good price is. Is $20k food for a 2009 wrx hatchback premium with 42.5k miles on it. It has a few mods but mostly stock. Sorry if this is in the wrong place.

What are you willing to pay? Anything less is a good price.

Is it food to Michael Moore? Or are we talking food for supermodels?

Generally speaking, modifications make a car worth less money. You'll noticed that the price of WRXs is driven by necessity and availability. Here in FL you still pay the premium for AWD but WRXs are a dime a dozen. Where as if you were in CO, AWD is desirable/necessary, and there aren't as many available.

CN: Buy a used Subaru in FL. They are cheap(er).

I'm well aware of the difference, it was just a general idea.

However they sell for two extremely different prices 09's can go from 19k+ depending on the mileage.

The '08 is a year that subaru should have skipped. Thank god it only took them one year to figure that out. Dont get me wrong, I am not knocking your car, just that year model.

This is a pointless conversation, so I'll move on.

There is one for sale in the southeast classifieds, if that helps you, at all OP.

Its hardly pointless. You can not compare the 2 cars in value, they are very much different.

So us discussing the difference between the 08 and 09 model is relevant to the OP?

It is when he is trying to price a 2009 WRX.

The Value of a 08 is way lower than a 09+ as they are 2 very different cars. So saying you bought your 08 for 15k is does not reflect the value of the 09 he is trying to buy.

But to the OP offer him 19k and see if he bites. That's a good starting point fyi.
