Don't have a scanner yet. Was pretty happy with homebrew tune.

Got a side and front angle of my car's pulls. Waiting on go pro for triple angle action.

Will post my car + my friend's DC2 on youtube tonight.

Not going to post the sheet just yet because im lazy but was quite happy with what I got considering its just cobb stage 2 setup

..294hp 310tq..might be **** for other people but im happy with it lol time for injectors, fuel pump, ebcs and real tune

my car surprised me consider i'm pretty much stock. Just intake and exhaust, no tune.
239hp 255tq.
TONS of fun though.

my motor was crank walking all over the place and somehow put down 165hp and 171ft-lbs on their 'dynojet calibration'...

notice the whacked out crossover point...

Either way, it was fun and at least it was a somewhat reasonable comparison between cars. FRS with catback did 169hp though. Maybe the crank walk makes things better...?

Double edit: Make sure you do go to racing greed for the tune

edit: saw your graph, damn running rich. probably won't need injectors btw.

yea off the shelf cobb tune

I don't expect anything great..its basically an upgrade from a factory type tune cause thats essentially what it is...and no I go get my stuff done up at rocket rally or at least I do when I don't mind driving up there...injectors might as well because I eventually plan to go bigger

The crossover point is correct. The hp and tq are on different scales. TQ is on the left Y axis and HP is on the right Y axis. At 5252rpm the HP and TQ values are equal. It's impossible to have an incorrect crossover point since the torque value is generated by the HP curve.

ah yes, you are correct. My bad.

Either way though, those results are questionable. There is no way my car is making the power stated. Even the mustang results of 140hp is really high. Similar mods (basically none) typically yields around 120hp on a dynojet. But either way, the goal was achieved. I now have a fun little baseline to compare my swap to. Now I just have to actually do the work...

was it the new engine or your old RS one?

Yeah! Those numbers don't make sense....

Are you sure you didn't have a blue bottle hiding in your fender well

. Whenever you want give us a call and we can schedule a time to put your car on the dyno for free. The dyno has never given an inaccurate # like that before. Even the cars that went before and after you, the numbers were bang on what they should be.

haha no hidden bottle. I really appreciate the offer and I will be back to get a tune done for my motor swap. I was really more interested in the curve than the actual peak number.

I don't think this motor could take another dyno pull. It smells like it's burning oil now. That was the first time, since I have owned it, that it was bounced off the limiter WOT. I'm going to say that the crank walk is like poor man's blueprinting...
