Default Fairly impressed

2002 bugeye with 155000 miles. I just got it a month ago and was very curious about how the compression was so we did a compression test and these were the results.

Driver front 168
Driver rear 167
Passenger front 171
Passenger rear 170

Now is it normal for a car with this amount of miles to have this good of compression? This motor has never been rebuilt. Bought it from the original owner and shown all paperwork of anything done to it such as maintenance.

I hope my 03 bug shows just as well as yours. I just got mine from the original owner as well 128k miles. I gotta put a trans in first though and hope it even runs to begin with.

Should be normal for good compression like this throughout the engines life, its not the 1960's anymore.
