Hi everyone, I bought a set of muteki lug nuts and lost the lug nut key and I didn't notice it til right now, my brother has the same kind of lug nuts so does that mean I can use his or are the lug nut key is specific only for the set of lug nuts that it came with it when I purchased it?
P.S. He lives 3 hrs away from my place, I don't want to drive there if the lug nut key he has doesn't work. Sorry for the noob question I just can't find anything about this topic.

Are they splinedrive lugs or actual anti-theft lugs?
If you can't physically try it out, get your brother to take a picture of his key and see if it's even close to your lugs. If they are anti-theft lugs, I know each manufacturer only makes a certain number of spline patterns, so someone somewhere will have a key that will fit your lugs and vise versa. Are the lugs installed on your car or not? Good luck! |

You can just use a 17mm socket.

Wow man, the sr48 isn't splined and doesn't need a key. Just slap a socket on there like vision said. Hopefully you weren't stressing too hard over this.

You can buy them on ebay, I have lost these before. Or post on a local forum perhaps someone has one you can use.
