Default Anybody get shocked by door when getting out of car?

Like the title says. Anybody get shocked when getting out of your Subaru? Every time I get out and try to close the door or when I touch the metal part of the car I always get shocked. Very annoying. Anybody else have this happen often? I live in Florida if that matters any

bahaha yeah I get it EVERY time I get out of the car. I got into the habit of leaning my shoulder into the door when I get out to discharge any static charge before my skin touches.

Spray the seats with Static-Guard. It is only a couple of bucks for a can at most grocery stores (in the laundry section). Be sure to leave the windows down for a couple of hours. The stuff works like a charm but stinks like @##Q#$%$&%#$%%^ untill it dries. You only have to apply it once a year or so.

Hahaha, personally, no. Then again, this happened pretty much every time I went to get out of a car at the auto show this past weekend.

This. I was actually going to post a thread asking if anyone else has hit their head on the car door while getting in or out. And wondering if this was a 2013 chassis problem only, or something that's been a Subaru issue for a while.

But then decided that getting points from jack for parody posts was not worth it.

Depending on which head you're referencing to, I have gotten mine stuck in the door once...

I mix liquid Downy with water, and spray my seats with a light mist, and use a dry towel to rub it in. Works great, and smells greater.

Peace
