Hello there,

my name is Steve. I currently have a VW Jetta TDi,

I joined because this seems to be a very vast resource of Subaru information

1) i received a free 97 legacy L awd 5 speed 2.2 with 240k on the clock, my goal is to install this engine in the back of my Karmann Ghia ( the car was pretty well worn out and this is going to let it live on) and will most likely have questions as i am altering the wiring loom and other bits.

2) have had my Jetta for 4 and a half years and put about 95k on it. still a good car but was thinking of getting something different. I drove an xv, i liked it. I drove a wrx... i loved it.

I like Subaru's and i like VW's I hope I will fit in.

later,
Steve

Welcome, and very nice idea, there have been Subaru powered beetles before, so I don't see why this couldn't be done. I'd like to see the progress once you start though
