Default Trying to find some info on my new STi

Bought this 2006 from a guy in the Baltimore area. Story is the orignal owner started building the car and for some reason didn't finish it.

He sold it to the next guy who happened to be a BMW master mechanic. He finished the build including the engine build.

That person then sold it to the 3rd owner who I bought it from already built. He owned it for 9 months and then decided to sell it, to me. He seemed pretty clueless about what all in went into it, just drove it and was happy with it. His "for sale" ad was a cut and paste of the ad he bought the car from. I had IAG in the Baltimore area check the car out and outside of the internals, they verified all of the parts on the car and that the engine was in good health (compression test, test drive, etc..).

I'm just looking to see if there is a little more history of the car (if anyone knows it or the previous owners) to find out what I can as I own the car now and it will be my DD.

Good thing you had IAG do a post buy inspection.
I would always wonder about the PO lack of knowledge and if he abused the car.
How many miles on the current build and how much hp?
I believe your clutch is good for daily driver sub 400 hp.
Previous tune at Agile may be good or bad depending on your needs hit up IAG get a protune dyno time.

I wouldn't mind having IAG do the re-tune on it but being I drove it back to North Carolina, I'll be looking for someone a little more local.

Bump it up, anyone else perhaps with any knowledge on this car?

This car has a lot of wrench time in it. Not sure where you are in NC, but Draco performance is a reputable NC tuner.

Thanks for the leads guys. Got a pretty good bit of info on the car now and just looking to fill in a couple of small holes.

Thanks for the suggestion on Draco Performance as well.

Must be cause my car runs great. I've never had a problem with agile. I don't understand why some hate so much. Its just annoying as ****.

Agile is fine, i was only saying the previous tune could be too aggressive or w.e for the current needs. I like w.e shop is less of a drive!
