No subi action for me since the 18th of Dec. Water pump seized up on the STI at 73K while heading out of state for xmas. Thank goodness it didn't' break the belt, but it sure did polish it. Also cracked the radiator from the overheat.

It's awesome when you have friends to call on that will pick up another car (a highly unreliable RX-7) from your house, trailer it 4 hours out of state, and swap with your broke down Subaru.

Ordered a gates timing belt kit, genuine Subaru water pump, cam seals, rear main seal, and valve cover gaskets. Will be ordering a clutch to replace all at the same time. Also going to order a radiator and a silicone hose set.

Might be ready by summer if full time work and classes keep going like they are currently.

Wow good luck bud on the rebuild (and good luck you didn't break that belt huh?), and yeah having good friends (really more like brothers sometimes) makes the things we do possible. I had a lot of help when i was in college in NY and had a wrangler with electrical demons.
what are you going for class wise. I'm taking a break myself after my ba in business, but soon i might be starting back up myself.

The program that I'm in is great. Very thorough on the materials. Sure beats UF's lack of CS now. Can't vouch for the master program however.

I hear you, I couldn't believe how bad uf treated me and my lady all three times we went there inquiring about programs. I'm not originally from here so honestly it was not b/c of their team just proximity.
