Default Haven't owned a car in 12 years, a Wrx seemed like a great first choice !!!

I've been a custom truck guy since I graduated high school in 1995,but have owned a few "cars" too. But for the past 12 years,it's been nothing but trucks. Owning a shop that built custom trucks (several in magazines over the years) I needed a truck to haul my trailer, but the shop is gone and so was the need to spend $120 a week on gas......HELLO SUBARU !!!! I picked up an 11 Wrx last week, and am very happy so far. As soon as my avalanche is sold, the modding begins (a deal I made with my wife ). Stage 2 right off the bat, coilovers and some wheels. Then I will drive it for a week or two til I'm bored, jk. I've spent hours on this forum, every night, trying to learn as much as I can about this car, and I've still got a ways to go !!!

congrats!

I am actually debating between a newer tacoma for hauling, offroading, or a 06-07 wrx. I also have a 2011 as well.

Looking for a Tacoma? Looking for a good laugh? Want to learn how not to act on an internet forum?

Skip the coilovers and get the Bilstein struts with RCE yellow or black springs

Grats on the purchase! Hope the wife enjoys the new panty dropper.
