Thanks man. It's a Dynapack so it's a chassis dyno. The wheels are off during the tune.

Nice numbers Greg. That curve looks real smooth. Glad you got it back up and running. I'm sure it feels great to have it back and all tuned.

This is a great setup! I hope to have something similar in a year or so. I talked to a guy a while back about a setup like this on his 2010 and he said the EWG plus FBO (might have had ELH also) made for an almost violent mid-rpm acceleration because of how quick he spooled. Haha Sounds fun! Did you go straight to the hybrid MBC/EBCS or have a Grimmspeed EBCS before?

Not sure what an FBO is either. But to add to what you're saying, yes it spools pretty quickly and keeps pulling and pulling. I'm happy with the tune.

My previous setup was TP stage 3, which included a GS EBCS.

I'm fairly certain "FBO" = full bolt-ons.

I'm rocking the TP stage 3 atm, how does this tune feel compared to it and what was the power difference if you dyno'd the TP tune prior to having Hill tune it?

It feels much faster. The spool is much quicker and the horsepower doesn't fall off at all towards redline, as you can see from the graph. I didn't get a baseline run, but Hill said the TP tune makes about 280-290whp on their dyno. The EWG is a massive improvement from the TP tune. The powerband is so much larger.

Agile is a nice shop and hill is a really good tuner. Generally dynapaks read higher than most so those numbers are a little on the high side but the spool, tune and powerband look great. Must be a blast with the ewg on such a small turbo. Instant spool and rock solid boost.

Yes the tune is extremely fun. I asked hill about the numbers and how the dyno reads. He said its neither high or low, but "accurate'. He also told me he went a little conservative with my tune because it is my daily driver on stock internals.

Well yeah its neither high or low for a dynapak but dynapaks generally read higher. For instance, I had my 07 stage 2 tuned there and made 315/330 with only a Dp, drop in filter and ebc. Great tune though. Enjoy the car, stage 2 is so much fun. After that it just starts getting real expensive and ur waiting for things to break. Lol

I actually really like the sound, but it is too loud for DD, and I don't want the attention. I had a local fabricator create a muffler for the EWG, just got it installed yesterday. I am unhappy with the sound it makes now, it's like a loud humming sound now.

A lot of people use Supertrapp mufflers, that is an option as well.

You could have it routed back into the DP.

yea the routing into dp is the best solution but would take custom fabricating and all.

Just dump it to atmosphere. It only sounds loud for like a week till u get used it and you only ever hear it when your wot thottle and driving it hard. At that point your motor and exhaust is screaming so loud its really a non issue.
