Default VIDEO ADDED 12.4 2006 STI (First runs ever)

I just took my STI to the strip yesterday and I thought I would share my results.
The car has a Blouch 20G at 19PSI, DW850, 255, FMIC, Up pipe w/ EWG, MBC, Full invidia exhaust and I believe thats it. Stock block, stock pistons on 93 oct.
It was about 80-82 degrees most of the day in central FL. Please take in mind this was my first day at the strip, ever. I did three runs, launching moderately each time. The first run was 12.7, 12.4 and then a 12.5 all within the same area at least.
My second run was against a rousch mustang and he only beat my by .3 of a second, I was impressed with my car's power...

Here is the picture of my times and videos will come later
Tell me what you think

My car was the first car. I really had trouble lining it up lol.

Real good for your first time, but it seems like theres more potential in your setup.

Not bad at all for your first time. With your setup I see 11's with some seat time.

I feel like there is a LOT left in your car. I wouldn't say so much as driver ability as much as some fine tuning and a bit more boost. you should be in the 11's on that setup for sure. Your trap speed is telling me that you probably wont be able to get much more. a 12.4 @ 109 is pretty nice. I was trapping 113 and hitting 12.2...

With some more tuning you could get into the 113-115 range and probably 11.8~

good job though! you had a nice 60'

Thanks, any suggestions? Besides the obvious, seat time.

Thank you very much!
This was also my second time ever launching the car and I only practiced once the previous week.

So what else should I do to get more out of my car? I just had it tuned recently and I dont really want to pay for another as I cant afford it right now. One thing I could do is PNP my headers, from Grimspeed. If I go the route for more boost I would need to change out my EWG springs, which is a PITA. I shouldnt be running more than 19 with my stock block anyways, right?
Im at 72k miles now and have run this set up for about 8-10 months. No oil burning and the car runs good.

Thanks everyone!

I'd say a moderate launch is 1.9-2.0 60'. You nailed 1.7, so thats a pretty good "moderate" launch

Who tuned it? It seems it wasnt tuned for power. That setup should easily trap higher than that.

Great 60 foot for your first time out. Most people bog the crap out of AWD cars and net a 2.1+. Definitely nice for your first time. Without video, we cant really see how fast/ slow your shifts are though but you could probably get a 1.6 60 foot with some practice and run a 12.2 with nothing else changed. Congrats.

Second time launching the car and 1.7 60ft...

Doesn't seem seat time is much an issue unless your shifts are crappy.

Someone PMed me on here and his name was Ben, he used a laptop and we did a few pulls and adjustments to the car, but nothing significant happened after the tune. Keep in mind it was a road tune and not a dyno, I have yet to get an actual dyno tune. So far its all been street tuning....
