Starting to think it's my temp sensor. Just rebled the whole system. Still does it. ONlY in 6th gear. Dont even have to be boosting. Just have to be in 6yh gear. Craziest stuff I've ever seen

Where did you do the hydrocarbon test? Via block tester or smog shop? I know the smog shop will have better luck detecting the hydrocarbon. If the leak is small I doubt you'll catch it with a hydrocarbon test though. But your luck is better using a smog shop.

Hopefully it is not the HG but I'm going off my experiences here and knowing how these things start off...

Well check back when you replace the sensor, hopefully that will do it!! *crossing fingers*

Let me ask if this sounds like the sensor since I have to wait till Tuesday to grt it

I parked my car and the temp needle sat in the middle for about a min. Turned my car off. Then turned right back on and sensor is where it usually safely sits

Sensor?

Honestly hard to say, Sounds like the car was idle got a bit warmer, you turned it off, turned it back on and read normal. I guess the next question is how long was the car off? If it was a few seconds then it could be the sensor or just could be a pocket of air or something.

Usually when the sensor goes it will start reading lower or dip down when you are driving or sometimes just not register at all then bounce back to the normal position. You'll start to see it going up and down randomly for sure.

Hoping it is the sensor for the sake of your sanity and wallet.

Yeah that is really odd... hard to tell if the temp really dropped or what. Well once you have the sensor installed you should be able to quickly test if that is the issue or not. Good Luck!

Good News man. Do a few WOT in 6th with boost and let us know if it happens again. Could be just a sensor issue all a long.
