A 6-pack of beer. It's a 12 hour drive. That's nothing. I could do that in a day. Less than a day. Maybe half a day, at most.
Unless you're driving a 35 year old car, just check your fluids and tire pressure like you normally would.

I've never been on a trip, but I'd take a some snacks and drinks lol. A 12 hour drive doesn't really seem like much. Then again, that could be my father's tractor trailer driving blood in me speaking...

I lock the suby in the garage and make my wife drive us in the TDI Passat. I drink in the passenger seat and yell at her for being a bad driver.

Don't need a long trip to do this, by the way.

wow, that's a long drive. when I uses to drive round trip from the bay area to so cal once a month it was dreadful.

What helped was listening to the audio of movies I had seen (only works well with comedies or lots of dialogue). That made the time go by quicker.

Somehow I managed to drive coast to coast six times between 1993 and 1997, solo every time. I just listened to music and...well, that's about it. I was in my 20's and didn't have too many cares back then. Averaged about 12 hours per day of driving on every trip. The worst was driving across the southern U.S. on Interstate 10 during summer in a Mazda that overheated unless I ran the heater on high.

One time I "cranked one out" while driving coast-to-coast, nearly lost control of the Penske truck. Usually I just bring Red Bull, Water and snacks, turn up the mp3 player on random and go. I already carry a pretty decent roadside emergency kit, first aid kit, extra fluids & bulbs on a daily basis so I don't really worry about anything else.

Dem MPG's.

I'm driving to a concert 2 hours away from me, I plan on having a couple comedy shows on my iPhone to listen to and a big Monster to sip on as I drive.

Yeah I never heard that one either.
Urban dictionary says you were masturbating "in a violent fashion".
Were you punching yourself in the face with your other hand?
