Default Plastidipped hood and added scoop

I know some of you will think "im ricing it up" but i did what i did.
Whole process from start to finish took about 3 hours, 3 cans of plastidip. For now, its only a visual hood scoop. I will probably put a functional some time in the future. Im just asking how you think it LOOKS.

Before:

After:

I still want to do the foglight covers, side skirts, and little pieces next to the headlights. I will probably get to that tomorrow after I pick up one more can of dip tonight.

What do y'all think??

That would be the answer to how it looks. I would concur.

Alright. oh well. I think it looks good. Im very happy with the outcome. Not all of us have tons of $$ to be throwing around on mods and aftermarket parts but we still want to do things to our cars to make them different from others. After being a member of 5-6 different forums of different focuses, this board has by far the most ******** of all of them. Its like its a competition who can insult first.

A simple "looks better stock" is fine.
If i didnt say anything about it being a visual scoop the comments would probably be different. At least i admitted it and didnt try to pass it off.

Lol. Oh well, thanks guys.

Aside from a black hood, your car looks like a stock WRX now. Not really looking different.

I think u should paint the scoop 2 or beyter yet do the carbon fiber look theres a video on dipyourcar.com and youtube showing u how.... but u should buy a wrx hood and scoop and swap over instead of drilling and making the scoop fit if that is what u were going to do.

If you dont want honest opinions, dont ask for opinions at all.

You took a clean car and made it look like a car that was in an accident and the owner couldnt afford to have a replacement hood painted.

I wont even get into the eBay hood scoop.

I've seen plenty of 2.5i/rs's with fake scoops, but most just trade the hood so they don't have a cheap looking fake scoop.

He told you, that's what you asked for. You're the one getting pissy. If you didn't want immediate responses like this then you should have posted this in the PLASTIDIP thread instead of feeling the need to make your own.

Not to mention the 2.5RSs that came with a hood scoop for years.

Says the guy crying over opinions that he asked for.

Look, obviously you are 16-18 years old and this is your first car. You're going to do dumb **** to it. It's a fact.

I had euro taillights once (ok it was 10 years ago, and went with the times). Some liked it, others didn't. To them I'd say "well I like it", and that would be that.

If you're going to ask opinions, don't be a bitch when you get a negative one.

Yeah dude. It looks far worse than before. I don't understand youngins and their tendency to gravitate towards having a car with different colors all over it.

Like someone said, it looks like you got into an accident and didn't bother to get your new hood painted. And the white hoodscoop in the middle of your unpainted hood looks pretty comical.

Also, if you can't handle anything other than being coddled, don't post pictures of a car you ruined on the internet.
