You should plasti dip the windshield also. It will make it just as functional as that hoodscoop.

why plastidip the hood black? IMO it wouldn't look half as bad if you left it white. what makes it look even worse is that mesh, atleast paint the mesh black to keep it from popping out at your eyes.

is this the worst thing i've seen? no. but i just dont understand why.

but hey, if you like it, i love it.

good thing that crap just peels off. should've just plasti-dipped those hubcabs and called it a day. or better yet, plasti-ditched them and just plasti-dipped dem steel rimz, if you HAVE to paint something. or the sideview mirrors.

man alive, there are dozens of affordable modifications you could do to that car, that would each be less than 100 bucks and would actually IMPROVE it. rear subframe bolts, rear diff bushings, tranny mount, pitch stop, tranny cross member bushings, front and rear shifter bushings, rear HD subaru swaybar mounts, a rear swaybar from a wrx or sti, ditch the crappy plastic rear endlinks for some steel whiteline or rallitek ones, better plug wires if yours are old, a "torque box" intake, a perrin short shifter linkage... bushings bushing bushings.

the best thing you can do is make that car handle well.

If you really want a scoop you should just put it back to stock and find someone with a stock WRX hood who wants to trade. It looks like a super clean car otherwise, don't ruin it with cheap mods. Be patient, do things the right way, and you'll be much happier in the end.

At the very least, dip the scoop... It looks so tacky right now. The hood came out great, but it doesn't fit with that white scoop, or those horrendous hub caps.

If want to draw attention to yourself, make the car worthy of attention.

Nothing wrong with a different colored hood. I have a black RS hood and my GC and I like it. Some people like it and some don't, but the fake hood scoop is a whole different problem. Granted cars like the RS dont have an intercooler but having the holes for air to circulate is great especially if you have a cone filter. There are TONS of cars that come from the factory with scoops that aren't turbo charged. The problem here is that you bought some crummy fake thing like they sell at autozone and slapped it on your hood, then you didn't even paint it the rest of the colors. If you are gonna fake, do it right, swap the hood.

Butthurt mating call.

Yes...carbon fiber and flat black look EXACTLY the same!!

Also carbon fiber hoods weigh a considerable amount less than an RS Impreza hood. The WRX hood, not so much.

IBTL. Car looked pretty clean before. Simply pulling off those hideous hubcaps would have improved the looks a ton.

If you don't want opinions then don't ask for them. If you don't like others' opinions, suck it up and accept the criticism like a big boy.
