Default Rubbery feeling getting into 3rd gear

02 WRX. 5spd. 99455 miles.

Just did a clutch about 500 miles ago.
Has been smooth sailing until now.

Sometimes it doesn't want to go into 3rd it'll take several tries. When this happens it feels like my shifter hits a rubbery wall (probably the feeling of the bushing being stretched).
Any ideas?

Default Jack car up and check shifter linkage

As above ^ ,
Just lift car high enough and have someone shift into third, and check for binding in the linkage while you are underneath. Could be this simple..

Started doing it for 5th gear this morning as well. There isn't any grinding or anything like that it just won't go in.

Forgot to update this thread.

It was the plate on the bushing. It came loose and was getting caught up under there.
