Little update for you guys.

I will be going to pick the car up today. The guy that did the wiring, knocked it out in a week an a half.

Here's a the few things I have left:

Break lines (abs delete)
Fuel lines
Radiator brackets
Random vacuum lines
Driveshaft

Car has already been tuned, do to this being my friends exact setup from last year. Still undecided if I want to run E85 or not. The tune on the computer is for 85.

Hopefully, the car will be running and driving by the end of the month. I'll try to get some pictures up, once I get the radiator in and fuel lines done.

FC FD it makes no difference, it's been done. A ls1 Wrx isn't as common as a ls1 rx7! I've seen them alot, I've driven a couple. It's cool yes, but it's not unique

EDIT: build a mid engine tubular frame ls1 powered car..wait nevermind, that's not unique either...please bulls the Wrx!

So what state is the shell in? I'm curious if it ready to take the ls1 or is it just a shell anymore? I might be interested in finishing it for him

You're looking at a 1500 dollar car. It's a original 1988 rx7 turbo II.

It's will just be a shell. I will be dropping the ls1 in my FC. I'm located in Illinois.

But your going to cut it up for a ls1? I know a guy with a graveyard of gen2 rx7 rollers for cheap! Like he's selling them for $250. I'm just saying, your build was unique and awesome and now your doing something that's been done hundreds of times.

Parts are also a lot cheaper. Plus the car is a lot lighter. There's a guy on here that's doing a turboed ls1 setup. His build thread and car is amazing If you're looking for a car to follow.

Another reason I'm switching to the rx7 is. Its been one of my favorite cars since I got into the car sene.

I'm just busting your balls man. I understand the switch as far as a drift/track machine, I would want to have the potential to destroy a good bugeye, but don't really want to see a Fc destroyed either. Anyways good luck with your build!
