Default Link Plus Install Scoobymods.com

I recently purchased a Link Plus for MY00 RS. I have used scoobymods.com to do many things to my car. The site is great! I really wish some one would put together an install FAQ for the Link Plus. Maybe the following info.

1. How to mount the ECU
2. Vacuum line to ECU install
3. Setting up a base map, maybe a few different ones for N/A and turbo (just to get the car running).
4. Mention tools required etc.
5. None problems / Bugs
6. Any thing else I left out because I have not done the install yet.

I searched and found little bits scattered here and there. Nothing like specific install directions though. Hence knowing the little I do about it

Thanks Guys
Ralph

The actual install is exceedinly simple if you got the plug and play harness.

The rest... well, Check out the thread I started awhile ago for tuning hints. There isnt much out there. It sure would be nice if people would all post their PCL's for everyone to see what we're looking at.

1) use 1 bolt where the factory one sat
2) 1/8" line, 3/8-3/8-1/8 tee from where the cruise was through the firewall by the brake pedal

4) 10-12mm sockets.... knife... about it.

The MAP reading will be more acurate if you run a line just for it. On all the manifolds that I've see there is a plug right above where the vac line for the FPR goes in. You can pull that out slap in a barbed fitting and hook the MAP sensor vac line up to that. It should be a bit more acurate that way.
