Default Ppg noise complaint

I'm building a 2.5 hybrid and was wondering to do a six speed swap or a Ppg . I wouldn't mind a little noise but how loud is it ?? It's going to be my DD so I wanted a couple opinions

Stay away from straight cut gears then. They will be extremely noisy and probably unbearable as a DD.

Here's a little taste of what you may hear.

This gearbox ^^ has straight cut first gear and the rest are helical to make the noise in higher gears less intense.

I rode in a locals car with a straight cut PPG dog box. It wasn't horrific, but definitely more than I'd want to deal with on the highway. If I were to do it I would go 1-2 straight, 3-5 helical, and do dogs. I'm done with syncros.

Talk to the guys @ Andrewtech automotive. Ask about the Andrewtech ratio helical PPG setup... a) nice gear ratios/spacing and b) very little gear wine usually until 4th gear speeds.
