So I installed this and it seems that the air dam part does not securely attach to the sf box. Did I do something wrong?

Probably? Who knows. Since it's supposed to work, Cobb is a reputable supplier of parts, and yours doesn't work, I would make the assumption that yes, you screwed up.
How? no idea. go back and look through the instructions. Maybe you missed a step? Take a few pictures and maybe we can help. You're basically asking us if you tied your tie straight, without providing us anything to look at. |

Totally normal. There was a thread about this recently, but I can't seem to find it right now. To put it simple, the stock air snorkel does not fit snugly with the Cobb cold air box. It will move around a little if you lift up on it. Nothing to worry about.
