Default Wrong birthdate on Speeding Ticket

First off, yes my wife was technically speeding BUT we weren't aware that the "new" Willingdon onramp to HWY 1 West was only 40 km/h...Basically intersects Grandview Hwy first and she was doing 71.
The cop was surely there as a cashgrab as everyone was still doing 70-80 going by us unaware it's now 40.

I understand it's a construction zone but it was 8:30 PM at night and not a soul was around...

Long story short the idiot got her Date of Birth wrong putting down hr 27th instead of the 29th....From what I recollect this can be an instant dismissal of the ticket...Is that the case in any of your experiences?

Don't know about Canada's laws, but I had that happen to me in North Carolina and it didn't mean anything. I still got fined.

wont help. the only way in my experience where an error on the ticket helped was if the registered owner or driver part wasnt checked i think.

Friend of mine had his speeding ticket dismissed when the cop put a wrong date on it: January 4th 2010 instead of January 4th 2011.
In my own experience, the cop had my name written down wrong and i still got fined. Apparently if the Driver's License Number is correct, they don't need your name or DOB.

Date of ticket can be dismissed, date of birthday, doesn't matter.

Ticket dismissed due to error on my ticket. Incorrect color of vehicle. Judge, officer and I looked at my vehicle. Was dismissed. I also did bring my purchase agreement as it cited the colour of car.

This is awesome but also very stupid at the same time. How does vehicle color affect a ticket?
