Default Tail light overlays

I've been having trouble finding a place that does good tail light overlays for my 2013 5-dr wrx.
I live by Springfield but most of the threads I found recommend places around Boston.
Could there be anything closer? (CT?)
I herd tint places do them, but could someone give me a recommendation of which is good?
Ill be getting film from IAG.

Dude good luck. Every place I try says try won't do them, and to let them know if I find someone. I live about 30 minutes from Westchester, where Audio Visions says they'll do them. That's the only place I've found.

Same page here, i think the biggest issue is that most vinyl shops don't want to deal with pre-cut overlays, zero room for error.

No one will get them to work with the Oracal crap that you get from blue bat. To have any shop work on them you need the Lamin-x ones so they can heat the crap out of them. I whent to my guy that did my 3m clear bra, took a while before I got the right material, and when all was said and done he said he would never do them again, i even told him i could throw business his way on this forum and he wasnt interested... I heard wicked does them, but I can guarentee it wont be cheap unless you find a sucker like I did lol

We wont do overlays anymore. We will actually paint the lights properly for cheaper than what overlays plus labor would cost.

OP, just paint them yourself. I did my '09 WRX tail lights a few years back. It's really easy and looks great if you take your time.

That's a good idea, it's just people say film lasts longer. That's my next move if I can't find any place before June 7th lol

the film does not last longer than legitimately spraying them. I cant speak to the testors method, but when we paint them we clean them, spray them (with a gun, not a can), clear them, and polish them. they then can be waxed just like paint and the finish will last just as long.

Vinyls are a pain to install. Heat gun is a must to do the job. Painted tails can fade overtime. Good luck

Sand lightly with fine grain sand paper, 3-5 coats VHT Niteshades RED. Let that dry. I then did 5 clear coats. UV protectant plastic clear coat. Best stuff they had in the store. Didn't sand after or polish. My tails now look how the subies should roll off the production line. Don't waste your money on vinyl.

Solar Solutions in Bedford. Yes its a haul for you but well worth it. Multiple people in the NE section can back this up as well.
