This was before GoPro's introduction. Thank goodness we never have to be exposed to this type of video butchery again lol! It's also pretty hard for my GF to hold onto her seatbelt (why I don't know lol) and record at the same time. Sorry for the music as well, my Justin Bieber CD had been forgotten at home FOL!

My friend Frank will also be bringing x4 radios besides the x2 I got. If someone would like one please let me know and I'll be sure to let you borrow one. I can collect them all at Monkey Trunks. Speaking of them...they've returned zero of my x2 phone calls trying to make reservations. Their website clearly states their open now though. Hopefully we'll have no problems. I just left another VM before typing this. Hopefully they call me back today!!

Does anyone know how to take a created map (like mine on pg.1) and turn it into an active GPS route? This is my first time using google maps create feature. I'm sure you can I just can't figure it out. It would just be nice to have it guide you along the course you've created and make navigation simpler. Lemme know...

I was wondering this the other day. I was thinking it would be nice to track the journey as we go along. Unfortunately I do not know how to do this through google though. Can you send me all of the stops? This way I can physically add it to my GPS and I'll be able to track the journey. Also I need you to text me your address so I can meet you on Sunday. I'll have 2 other cars with me as well. Can't wait! Is it Sunday yet?!

Josh, you should be able to download my map off page.1 I wish I could be used as an active GPS route though. Maybe someone else will fill us in.

And I'll text you my address now

Ok, so I just got off the phone with a rep from Monkey Trunks. Even though their website CLEARLY states that they're open in the month of April on weekends they're still not technically open yet. Although she did say she's going to make a bunch of calls and try to get us accommodated with staff. So if this works out we'll have the park TOTALLY to ourselves! I'll post up as soon as I hear back. If they can't accommodate us and open I'll de find something else for us to do. I did tell her though this would be extremely beneficial for them as well to open early in the season as they'd certainly make a ***** load of money off the amount of people we have coming at this point. Hopefully she can pull some strings and make it happen!

Anyone have recommendations of attractions near the Kancamagus if they can't accommodate us? I now there's a few ziplining parks nearby although booking 50+ people at one this late may be hard. Post up your thoughts guys!!

If you have a Garmin or Tom Tom GPS, you can set a "via destination point".
For example, if you just set a final destination, the GPS will take you the most direct route BUT if you set via points along the way, the GPS will make sure to accommodate these points on the way

So, go online and find some addresses of places along our way (gas stations or something), and the GPS will take us to these check points. Eventually leading to the final destination. Do your homework, it can be accomplished. May need like 5 or 6 via points before ultimately reaching final destination.

By the way, I could use a radio! Please reserve one for me

Ok, so they can't accommodate us in Chocorua but can at their Weirs Beach location. I will update my map ASAP and repost it in my original thread post. Alex, please watch for this is you'll need to update you FB event. I will do some re-routing and we may have to touch a highway or two in order to be at Weirs Beach by 2:30pm. This way everyone will get to participate in the obstacle course if they wish and still get home at a decent time. Weirs Beach will offer more shops and food locations anyways so this may be better in the long run.

$49 per person for anyone participating in the Monkey Trunks part of things just FYI!

I'll get my map updated ASAP guys! That's bada$$ they were willing to open for us though! We're gonna have the place to ourselves

Safety of all of us, along with the public that'll be sharing the road with us that day is PRIORITY #1 guys! What makes these events successful and something positive to post about afterwards is the acknowledgment of a few simple guidelines. So please read and advise any +1's coming with you of these few simple things. I in NO WAY intend to babysit another member, but I will not let the negligent actions of people cause our caravan to be shut down or chased out of town by town by police due to calls from concerned citizens. Lets keep this positive guys and one of the events that's talked about till the Fall Run!

1. No one is to pass the front 5 cars! That'll be myself, STiZzle2010, my friend Frank, greenplates, and his friend Josh. We will be leading the pack and doing photo/video shoots throughout the day. We will be in communication via walkie talkies to control and lead the group while doing these things. We'll all be clearly marked by either "lead1/2" or "GoPro 1/2/3" so please let us get ahead of you at all times. We'll also need someone to volunteer who's more of a slow driver and wants to have a walkie talkie at the back of the pack. This way you can communicate with the front of the pack if you're to get separated at any point due to traffic or lights. Please let me know if being the rear pack member is something you'd like to help with. If you own walkie talkies, feel free to bring them as the more communication we have among members the better.

2. I fully acknowledge that some drivers may be slower/faster than others. Try to pick a spot in the caravan as we leave each meet spot that you feel will be a good pace for yourself. Obviously faster drivers/cars should be in the front.

3. I also acknowledge that passing of vehicles will be happening, as you may be behind someone in that caravan after a meeting spot that's a little slower than yourself. If you're going to pass another member just please be intelligent and do when there's room for you in front of that person to effectively get your spot and not disrupt the flow of traffic going either direction. I strongly frown apon passing over double solid lines! There's plenty of places on these wide open and long straight roads that'll have legal passing areas...use them!!

4. WATCH YOUR SPEED! We're all here for a good time, and although speeding on some of the backroads we'll be on is obviously in the plans please keep in control of your vehicle at all times. Don't try to hit a hairpin on the Kancamagus on your weak stock suspension...it's really not cool trust me lol! You're only going to crash (as I've seen happen on Runs) and ruin things for everyone! If an accident happens I assure you we'll be escorted out of town by every towns police department.

5. Be prepared! We will not be stopping for food or gas until we reach our destination in Chocorua, NH. There shouldn't be a car in our caravan that can't make it that far on a tank of gas so please be advised that if you have to stop for gas no one will be waiting for you. It's important we stay on time and with things like photo/video delays and traffic it's going to be hard enough to reach our destination of Monkey Trunks by 2-3pm so everyone can get their jungle gym/ziplining fix in! DON'T MESS WITH MY PLAY TIME ROFL!!

And with all that being said, I can't wait to see all of you guys there and to be part of one of the best events 2013 will have to offer!
Event guidlines updated! Please read the #1 guidline.

Here's an updated map for everyone to save and use on Sunday. I had to change some meet times to accommodate Monkey Trunks. We wont be there till 3pm now but it's the earliest I could do without starting before the sun is even up. I also had to shave a little bit off of the Rte.100 part of the trip but we'll still be hitting quite a bit of it.

Updated Meet Times:
Auburn: 6:30am-6:45am
Springfield: 7:30am-7:45am
Brattleboro: 9:00am-9:45am

Please spread the word the best you can! I tried to make the least amount of edits possible and still put us there by 3pm.
