Gonna try to make it out to the NTAXS event! I'm not particularly competitive in their classes but I sure do love the extra four runs over the SCCA events.

Don't worry, you'll be WAY more competitive when you get some better tires!

If you plan to go to the NTAXS autocross on the 25th at TMS, don't wait too long. There is a limit of 65 drivers and 32 are signed up so far.

I just registered, gonna co-drive with my buddy. He usually races a Rx8, so he probably won't beat us.

Well it looks like there will not be any more autocross events at Dallas Raceway. The new owners want to focus more on drag racing, so they will be drag racing on Saturdays and Sundays now.

That's terrible. Dallas Raceway was a pretty good site. I just hope they don't replace all the Crandall races with Mesquite Memorial.

Was good seeing everyone at the event on Sunday. The surface was pretty crappy due to the dust and the construction, but still a fun time drifting the subie a bit...

This is a shame. I liked the surface so much better than the way TMS has been. At the last NTAXS event I feel like I could have ripped the ebrake and drifted half of the course with all that dirt. Still looking forward to this Saturday though!

I have no desire to ever go to Mesquite Memorial again. If ER is moving all their Crandall events there I for one won't be going.

I had a fun time at yesterday's auto autocross. I didn't do as good as I would have liked to but still gained some more experience.

I couldn't quite catch Sam or his co driver lol.

I'm already looking forward for the next event.

Saturday's event was a ton of fun, NTAXs was the last group I had left to run with and I am glad I finally made one of their events (I wish they would increase their entry cap since the SCCA ran tms with over 130 entrants last week without issue).

I am not going to be attending anymore Mesquite Memorial events so with ER losing the Crandall site I don't plan on running with them anymore (even though they are a great group of guys).

I sincerely hope that the new Dallas Raceway owners change their minds on having Sunday autocross events. I am betting the Porsche club will just move their events to Mineral Wells (which I like but many others don't). The SCCA will most likely move to TMS and the BMW club might split between TMS and Mineral Wells.

I cam also report that the zII's handled the double drover heat admirably once I let out the extra pressure (they built up 5psi in the fronts over the course of my 4 runs).

The Porsche club event next week has been moved to Pennington Field since the new Dallas Raceway owners don't want to deal with autox.

I am signed up, the Porsche club are fun group to race with (Maverick Region PCA is their name).

I might run out to the PCA event on Sunday...it's really close to home.

Havn't run with them in a while...they still do walk-up regs or is it only online now?

They still do walk-ups, but sometimes they cap the number of entrants (65 people at the TMS bus lot) and they have filled up in the past (you can register online and pay onsite).

Anybody going to the SCCA autox this Sunday at TMS? I'm signed up in ASP with my new tune/ebcs. :/ It'll be a fun time for sure, the course looks fast!

I'll be there in my very nearly stock '12 WRX hatch--I have an STI rear sway but that's it. The course looks really, really fast. For me (novice) that just means I'll understeer right off the course.

Is this your first time? I'm no where near a pro but this is the second year I've been going to random events. You'll be plenty happy with just a sway bar, by far my favorite fun/$ mod. Honestly you'll do much better if you go out to just have fun, understeer or not!

Second--I did one event in April and loved it (had the rear sway then too, so I never tried it stock). I was hoping to have new tires on for this event but I haven't gotten around to mounting them yet. I'm all about having fun, though, definitely not worried about results at this point. I'd like to take courses at some point, but that's not going to happen this year.
