The 2011+ GR WRX does:

0-60 in 4.7 seconds
1/4 mile in 13.5@101mph
Stops from 60 in 106'
Pulls 0.92gs
Runs the slalom at almost 70mph
Does Motor Trend's figure 8 test within 0.2 seconds of the STI
Outruns the Focus ST and MS3 at Willow Springs by over 1 to 3 seconds.

All this for $26K and on a "marshmellow" suspension, a "dangerous" aligment, tires that "suck", and a "ticking time bomb" tune.

POS car!!!!!!!!!!!!

You're hilarious. You really are.

Your car was paid for by the same idiots you bash every day. Idiots that not only can pay for their own car but can pay for yours too. Don't bite the hand that feeds you, old man.

And not only that, you somehow think that your car became more reliable when you modded it. True genius right there. If you want a reliable car mod a turbo econobox.

09 hatch stock excluding spt cat back, audio, lip, overlays and tint (no power mods) . 40k miles. I want to up the power but being a student holds me back! The potential will always be there.

P.S. don't feed the uncle! He's on a rampage! I usually agree with his monologues, but sometimes I just shake my head and remain a silent "kiddie."

Bone stock for me with the exception of an autodim compass mirror from a WRX (I drive a 9-2x).

The WRX is stock and will stay that way. My dd's are always purchased new, kept stock and traded in. I see no need to mod the DD. I have a near 600rwhp toy in the garage that gets the mod money.

I've only had my '13 WRX sedan for about 6 weeks now and it's stock except for RokBlox mudflaps. I have an appointment for later this month to get the windows tinted, and I'm going to stay around 40-45% on that. I just want it a little darker than stock. I also debadged the trunk, except for the constellation and WRX emblems.

I added my Audiovox XM tuner via a dash vent mount. I mounted the antenna on the front edge of the trunk and ran the wire tucked away nicely up under the dash and through the vent register. I have to do the same with the audio patch cable after I figure out the least destructive way to run it into the console.

I tried a round shift knob for a while from Sickspeed but it was just to big and clunky. I have a Hurst while ball knob from a Mustang T-5 with the "H" on the sides and the shift pattern engraved. It's a 16-3/8 thread though...I'd love to figure a way to get it on there because it's perfect for me. Still, as much as I didn't like the stock knob at first, I've gotten used to and like it now. I'm sure as the bushings age and the shifter gets sloppy I'll end up going with aftermarket.

I do think I'll eventually go with a Nameless 4 or 5 inch muffled axle back kit, but just for a little more driving enjoyment. I may also end up replacing the head unit as well, but even the factory one isn't as terrible to me as many think it is.

These are pretty much all minor things that I don't consider "real" mods. I really don't plan to get into any "real" mechanical modifications. I know these cars respond well to them when done right, but for now stock performance is better than any other car I've owned and I want to maintain reliability/practicality.
