Default Top Scoob 032 ... There Will Be Wagonistas (Cast Your VOTE in the Finals NOW !!)

It's time again to raise the Wagonista banner high and find out which wagon truly is the rolling definition of badass but with cargo space.Top Scoob is proud to open our 32nd round and the fourth for Wagonistas! This contest is open only to Impreza or Legacy wagons of a pre-2008 vintage. No Crosstreks please.

If you think your car is worthy, or just want to share your obsession, please read the rules and post up an entry. You never know...you might have the next Top Scoob sitting in your driveway!

Take a few minutes to look back at two of our previous Wagonistas, JaiMak's 98, TS004, the car that inspired the very name "Wagonista" and chrisrobinson's Littlebus, TS012, easily the World's Best Looking Banana.

Here's everything you need to know to get you and your Subaru on the road to becoming the next Top Scoob.

It’s easy to enter your car, all you need is a Subaru, a camera, a place to host pictures, a user account here on NASIOC.com, and the ability to type a sentence or two…

The Rules are as follows...
  • Please limit your entry post to only FIVE pictures of your car, whatever you feel best shows off your hard work. Once the voting begins you are free to add more pictures with new post. Feel free to post away for as long as you remain in the running.
  • A written description of your ride, the more detailed the better. We’re talking about more than just a mod list, we want you to share the story behind your Scoob. Tell us why and how you bought it, what inspires you to modify it, and what all you’ve done to it and why. Most important is to tell us what you do with your car...race, show, cruise, polish with a diaper, whatever.
Think of it as your own magazine feature, the better you sell your car to the masses the better the chances of your Subaru becoming a Top Scoob.

  • You're more then welcome to start a campaign thread in your Regional Forum however the General, Off Topic, and Gallery forums are off limits to threads requesting votes. If you already have a thread about your car in the Gallery feel free to bump away. If you don't have a build thread consider starting one!
  • TRASH TALKING is not welcome in this contest. If you need to tear down another competitor to improve your own or a friend's chances please remember this is only a contest intended to be fun for all Subaru enthusiasts.
How it works
  • This is a contest, open to all Nasioc members that own a Subaru.
  • You must be the current owner of the car, no third party entries allowed. If you have a question about your car's eligibility please just ask.
  • When it's time to enter you can do by responding to Top Scoob thread in either Nasioc's Official News, Articles, and Polls Forum, the Member's Car Gallery or check for one of the Top Scoob LOCALS ONLY rounds in NASIOC's regional or international forums. Any themes or restrictions on entries will be clearly described before the contest begins. For example: GC Only, or Wagons Only, or STi, ect. ect. there's a new theme every time.
  • Please only one entry per person.
Voting and Eliminations
  • There are three rounds of voting, Round One = 8 days, Round Two = 8 days, Final Round = 10 days
  • After the First Round only the Top Ten cars move on.
  • After the Second Round only the Top Three move on.
  • The Top Three cars will go head to head to head in a final poll to select who has the next Top Scoob.
  • Votes are automatically reset to zero at the start of each round.
  • In case of a tied vote for the last transfer spot in the first two rounds, the entrants involved will compete in a 24-hour Run Off vote.
If there is a tied vote for first place in the final round, a 72-hour Run Off vote will decide the winner.

Default

I guess ill jump in this , this is gonna be a bad ass competition !!!!! good luck to all the wagons that will be joining in !

Im joe, also known as shaggin , i purchased my wagon back in 2005 brand new and have slowly been modding it to the point of no return that you see now. The car was originally bought as a daily driver meant to haul the dog around town and well... that obviously hasnt stayed that way. The wagon has seen track time , shows , acted as a daily driver , and ive had the good fortune of being featured in Super Street and PASMag. The car is still daily driven in the form and RIDE HEIGHT you see in front of you but i have stopped the modding as i have recently purchased a 72' Datsun 510 wagon.

Heres the mod list ... and heres a few pics.

Well if Foresters are in then I will play

I picked this Forester up in the fall of 2010 and have been modding it since day one - the previous owner did a wonderful job of picking a solid group of power mods and keeping the mechanical shape so I jumped on it as soon as I found out that it was available. Brembos were the first upgrade I did, since I do a fair mix of city and highway driving and the stock brakes just didn't cut it with the 300whp I wasn't used to. Coilovers and suspension upgrades came shortly thereafter and then a 6mt and dccdpro were next. I had been in a number of hit-and-run accidents and I finally got hit hard enough to justify some new paint last summer so the car has fresh paint with double clearcoat. I feel like it's finally coming into its own and I have some fun plans for the summer to keep things lively

Thanks for everyone stepping up with some seriously impressive machines...I have no idea how the voting will go as just about every car entered has something worthy of being a Top Scoob.

We're at 19 entries and voting for round one will start Monday!

Thanks again and Good Luck!

To be fair, the dickriders are warranted. A lot of work has gone into that car and it's really cleanly done.

My vote goes to Shagon, simply because that is the wagon I would model mine after, if I could/would do it all again.

Mine goes to you (I love Shagon's too). If my wagon was more track oriented instead of auto-x, I would be doing just what you are. It is bad ass!

Best of luck everyone!
