Default Those embarrassing moments you'd rather forget about

I was nearly trampled at a Paramore concert a few years ago.

That I went to.. by myself.

My bad ankle gave out on me and next thing I know I was on the ground.

Kaiser probably would have enjoyed being crushed by a bunch of teenage girls.

With the skinny jeans and often androgynous dress style you may not be able to tell if they're boys or girls.

Oh, I could tell.

It smelled like sweat, bubblegum, and detention in there.

Getting clocked by some random dude when him and his girl caught me and some neighborhood kids watching them bang. Caught is wrong, my older buddy (I was like 13) said "how's the ****'ing"; he had tennis shoes, I had loosely tied and new doc martens. I also thought we were in it for the long haul, nobody told me we were going to yell. The dude caught me and gave me a decent shot, but I was mid run and couldn't run in those shoes, did a roll and just kept trucking.

The memory of trying to run fast in those shoes is a huge frustration dream for me.

In geology class, the professor asked, "can anyone remember who held the patent for the first tri-cone drilling bit?"

I said, "Hugh Hefner?"

He said, "No...he was famous for something else." :class laughs: "It was Howard Hughes."

I wanted to die. I knew the answer but blurted out the wrong name. So close, but yet so, so far.

Foiled by Doc Martens. For shame.

I went to see the movie Serendipity with a bunch of guys.

At least Kate Beckinsale was hot in that movie.

In a crowded elevator, I asked this pregnant lady when she was due.

"I'm not pregnant."

Silence.

It was a long elevator ride up.

I was 22 working for an ad agency in Providence ... and was called to reception to lead an ad rep to the back office. I turned the corner, saw a stunning blonde in a red dress and was like the Priest Cornelius in Fifth Element the 1st time he saw Leelu... stammering over his words just in the hopes something coherent comes out. I could only wave her on, and lead her down the hallway.

I was a sophomore in high school and running on the treadmill at the local gym before cheerleading practice when one of the football players came in to work out. Long story short... I tripped over myself and fell on the treadmill with it running. Burned the skin off my knees from the moving belt.

I still have the scars.

There was that time I was walked in on. It's not nearly as funny as Fast Times at Ridgmont High would indicate.

I wish I could have the five minutes back when I missed my HS girlfriend's mouth and accidentally open-mouth kissed her face in front of several of both her and my friends.

We broke up a couple of days later. Not that she was a keeper, but God that was embarrassing...

Running to catch the school bus in the rain.

Get on sharp metal school bus stair.

Slip.

Crack skull open on corner of stair.

Profuse bleeding all the way to nurse's office.

Hospital.

Stitches!
