Posting up about stolen wheels from 3 months ago is like getting a check and not cashing it for 10 years, then when you go to cash it and it bounces, you get mad.

I hope whoever stole them they painted them right away.

That green color is unforgivable

Funny how you put down officers, but when something happens to you, you'll be running to them "oh Mr. police officer please help!"

Same. I find it rare that a mature person, who genuinely doesn't do anything wrong, hates/ bashes police. AKA, people who bash police have usually been caught for doing something wrong/ immature.

So? Even if you do, it doesn't mean ALL POLICE ARE EVIL. Are there bad apples? Yes. Are there idiots that work at dealers/ oil change shops/ any company in the world? Yes. It doesn't mean that the entire population is like that. I can't wait until you get in a situation where you need them. Your tune will change quickly.

You sound proud of yourself/ friends. It isn't police officers #1 duty to find some *not smart persons* rims every single time he gets them stolen. Especially when you don't even report them/ do it 3 months later and then bash them. This honestly just makes you look *not smart at all* for have 3 FREAKING SETS OF RIMS STOLEN.

*Substituted for a nice was of saying mean things

Easy, you put them on the corner of your street with a "FREE RIMS" sign right next to them.

I'm pretty sure they weren't on his car. He left them out front with a "FREE RIMS" sign next to them. Then decided 3 months later he didn't want to give them away for free.

Doesn't matter, you still got your wheels stolen 3 times, you should have learned the first time.

That IS bad. That's 10%. If I got butt raped (what I imagine it would feel like if someone stole my rims) 10% of the time I left my house in the last 8 years, I would be very sore and not be a happy camper. I'd also probably re-think my strategy and figure out how to not get butt raped after the first time.

I'd also notify the police that I was butt raped. Even if they are mean and dont care and blah blah blah.

Now that's a great debate...

What's worse... a butt raping or getting your rims stolen?

I would prefer to have my rims stolen any day of the week.

I don't think this reflects well on your character...you know, that part in your Oath of Honor (assuming officer of the law means police officer). I'm not advocating the slandering of police and I also understand that everyone is entitled to their own opinion...just pointing out that since your assumed job is to serve and protect, you should set aside your own opinions and overlook an insult.

Lol I didn't take it personal it just made me laugh that he's asking for help yet insulting everyone. Obviously either way if he contacted me I would help him this kind of attitude towards saying the police aren't helpful and all is ridiculous, law enforcement puts their life on the line everyday yet people still act like we do nothing.

You made it personal when you shared your opinion. Technically he specifically stated he didn't want your help as a police officer. I'm not defending OP or his methods, nor do I agree with what he said about officers of the law. My issue was with your disposition. If you're going to identify yourself as an "Officer of the Law" you should respect that authority and act accordingly.

I hate hearing this argument, you signed up for the job....now you are looking for some sort of props for doing it.

Its the internet, i would hope that you have thicker skin especially being a peace officer. If some one has an opinion of law enforcement......let them have it.

Yes it is dumb that op is chasing down rotas years or months later, but because you got offended........ its time to shut'er down?

You and other in your profession are not the only one putting their life on the line day in and day out, you are not in-titled to automatic props.

I'm not even mad lol everyone keeps acting like I was serious he is right in one sense that he knows that the person who possibly bought them would get screwed because they wouldn't get any money back and would lose the wheels but at the same time if he is having such a hard to protecting his wheels he should contact the law enforcement and then possibly relocate where he lives. Side not I'm not looking for props I love my job even if most people hate da popo
