I can start throwing up busted rods at fairly modest power levels too if you want, but let's just end this here.

I'm going to level with you man, since we have absolutely derailed this thread to hell lol. You seem like a pretty knowledgeable guy, and I am sure you know a fair bit about this stuff. However, you come off pretty insulting at times and that is what got me going in this thread .. and this argument has gone on far longer than it should have.

At this point I think it is way past time to bury the hatchet, and just agree to disagree regarding the power not effecting longevity. Though, this is typically how it goes when 2 stubborn gear heads have differing views .

Your links in order:
1. L26 (high compression motor) cannot take as much boost as most push through.
2. Not a blown motor thread. Only how to spot. More than likely l26 info.
3. L26
4. Same link as no 1.
5. Edit: Read a little deeper on link 5. Girlfriend driving, low octane, high boost, no intercooler. Cut and dry operator error.

Post up whatever you want just make sure your using valid info.

Quit anytime, I'm only helping to educate.

I agree we are hard headed and I may be an ass, but I'm certainly not talking out of my ass.

This started because I got jumped for an honest, simple, passing comment. Take it for what it was, but if you want to call me on it, be prepared! You will have to nitpick the Hell out of anything I say just to prove me wrong. I never post up wrong info, I don't use internet propaganda. Facts. I will tell you 100% when I'm wrong. I have no qualms of doing so. I will also admit when I don't know something. I can tell you though, when I do speak up about something, I know what I'm talking about.

Ok all you skeptical people out there. I have a 2011 WRX, mods as follow: invidia tbe, invidia up-pipe with 38mm tial wastegate, DW65c fuel pump, DW 1000 cc injectors, blouch 2.5 polka pickle turbo, manual boost controller, cosworth short ram, turbo XS fmic, and a oil cooler mounted were the tmic was. Also have a act 6 puck and hd pressure plate. This is all on the stock block. I have 22000 miles on the car and still runs strong with no oil usage at all. I make 356 awhp on 93 and 376 tq @ 6700 rpm on a mustang dyno.

Getting back to the original posters question......

Im making roughly ~340WHP on a dynoject in my VF52 WRX with the following.

Full TBE, Intake, Upgraded TMIC, Injectors, Fuel pump, EBCS and E-90 fuel.

All can be done with quality parts, installed and tuned by a good tuner for around $5k I think so best of luck.
