Default Looking for really good Subie Shop; Berwyn/Wayne/Paoli PA area

I'm in the process of getting my 2002 WRX wagon ready for sale (123K miles, owned since new), and I wanted to take care of a few important things beforehand, valve cover gaskets, cv boots, axle shaft on one side, as well as some cosmetic work. I'm in the Berwyn/Wayne/Paoli area. I've tried FAST in West Chester and RT Tuning in Landsdale. I wasn't happy with FAST, and RT is too far from me, and I don't like the fact that they charge you extra for labor if you bring in your own brand new Subaru OEM parts.
Can anyone suggest another good shop in the area? Thanks in advance.

Phoenix Performance is another top-quality shop in the area. Some shops charge more for customer-supplied parts, since they can often get better margins on parts than labor.

I called them up and they no longer do Subarus; the guy said they were too much trouble.

Those are really the only shops that specialize in Subarus in the immediate area. The reason they charge you extra when you bring your own parts is they are losing the money they would make on the sale of those parts. Plus they have a backlog of work with customers who are buying parts from them. Supply and demand. Pretty standard, and at least it sounds like they were up front about it.

If you want travel a bit, there is Area1320, IAG, AZP, and a bunch of other quality shops. Check the vendor classifieds. Unfortunately, you won't find local Subie shops other than R/T and FAST. i think there is a shop in the York or Lancaster area, but I don't recall the name.

Curious as to what you didn't like about FAST?
