Focus ST and MS3 are both less than that fully loaded. Not talking MSRP here, dealers 'best' out the door price.

WRX isn't an option as they're not cheap fully loaded - and hard to come by.

Not buying a used car.

I just picked up a new Mazdaspeed3 last week. I got the Tech Package (navigation, etc.) and paid ~$23,941.16 for the car. Out the door with tax, title and tags was $25,252.27 for the car. Very good price. That's out the door for less than actual invoice. There is a $1500 rebate that just started as well. Great little car. I bought mine in Annapolis, MD (Fitzgerald) since no one in the Hampton Roads area could come within $1500 of my final price.

I have no problems with a used car - but this is my wifes car, not mine!

Right now the Ford dealer has Mazda beat on price - but wife doesn't like the ST A road trip to the dealer so she can see it in person my change that but she's pretty set on the MS3.

I will have to check them out.

The dealer I've been talking with has given me 26,463.79 out the door( -$500 for Active duty military discount).
That's with tech package, wheel locks, homelink rearview, A/W floor mats and the int. light kit. All I asked for was the tech package - so if they have a model without all that useless crap I'd save about $550.

I'd like to be at 25, which is where you ended up. Considering the rebate ends this month - and the dealer knows I won't be buying without that 1,500 off - I'm sure they can do something if they want to make the sale.

Can someone more knowledgable with the GR STI's tell me if there is some kind of plate that is supposed to go over the flywheel here?

This is a photo that I took of my 11' STI after getting some work done. I don't ever remember being able to see the flywheel and the clutch, but then again I don't recall spending too much time looking at that specific location.

Is there a plate?

I know my 07 doesn't have one - but it's been torn apart and put back together so many times I wouldn't be suprised if I'm missing something

Yes, there is a plate. See part number 8 in the IPB.

Yeah, mine is missing, too. ('06 STI 6MT in my Legacy) I've been meaning to pick up one of those plates for a couple years now.

I heard that it is a PITA to replace? Dealership replaced engine, so they are fixing the issue. They also forgot the heat shield, and multiple exhaust bolts.

I was in the parking lot at the school I'm at in SC today, and was stopped by someone who recognised my car from my sponsors website. Subaru people are awesome.

Anyone able to help me transport my motor from the shop to my house ..like soon ish?

Guy I work with said he would help but I can't seem to find his number.

Not putting it in the legacy.. I'm sure it'd fit but getting it out would be interesting.

Will the motor have a crate or box to hold it up? Unfortunately im not in town to help, but if u need a cradle to easily slide the motor in and out of a wagon or truck. I built one for Nick that works great for sliding the motor out of my wagon. Im sure he isnt using it right now since his block is in pieces if u needed it.
