Itll part civic little part camaro little part subaru. Not bad all in all. But we know it wont happen unless they grow balls and just do something bold. Why not riggt its a niche player now.

I agree with draker, the rear has a new civic look to it. But if they are planning on using it for rally doesn't the engine have to be no bigger than a 1.6 ltr? Don't see much point in them making it and calling it WRX unless its for rally?

+1 on the camaro part from the front end. The centre grille and the hood scoop SCREAM Subie though!

I have a feeling this is not an official concept. The proportions are all off.

its a decent fan-made concept, pretty close to the spy shots of the test mule.
I have a strong feeling that the test mule will literally be the production model.

^ well, the test mule might be an impreza, but look at the last time they did something like this.

08 WRX = 08 2.5i + mesh grill

Subarus aren't exactly famous for having production models with high similarities with their concepts.
Mazda and Mitsubishi however, pretty much slaps a price tag on their concepts and go straight to production.

From the concept drawing and the logical Japanese manufacturing methods and process, you can still deduce a few things though:

1. There will be wider fenders like the GR and GV chassis. Very cool, yes, but not really earth-shattering.
2. There might be HID projector headlights available. As industry expects.
3. Please no LED strips on the headlight, I will actually pay to remove it.
4. Quad tip exhausts. But judging from brand history maybe only for STIs?
5. A ground effects kit to set it aside from regular Imprezas.
6. There will be a mesh or honey comb grille that replaces the current Chevrolet style grille. It's a new plastic piece that swaps out the old plastic piece. No magic there.

theres no way the production model will look like that. those tail lights will never fly, nor will the rear diffuser.

concept cars always look amazing but they never stay the same once regulation and safety laws come into place

Subaru has a strong history of ugly test mules...and the production cars never look like them.

Check out this BRZ mule, looks just like it!

Not bad, it reminded me from first glance with simular vibes as the peanut eye (04-05) more straight lines/angles etc.... If this concept car turns into a real production car, it may get interesting...

oh btw, SUP bitches!
been a while. lol
