Myself and my brother have used Novus in the past (off Denali next to Hales) and were pleased with price and service. Though it was near my work so convenient as well.

Coworker used SpeedyGlass and seemed please

The owner of Novus is really cool. I got my BMW windshield replaced there. Either Novus or Speedy Auto Glass. Safelite is good too, but I think they may be a little more. Always good to do a price check, in the end that is who gets the business.

Novus is good, but I always go to Speedy Auto Glass. They're done pretty quickly and super nice guys (at Huffman location).

Ooofta... that'll add a premium. IIRC my brothers was quoted something like ~$1200 with heating elements, ~$700 w/out. (I forgot if his model had them)

My WRX Limited was about $1,100 in 2011, then dropped to $600 in 2012. I only ever paid $100, though, through my insurance. Does your insurance not have windshield coverage? Have you asked them?

I think subaru quotes the window with heating elements to be like around $700 or more. That doesn't include installation either. I might have to used insurance to get the windshield replace.

You might want to wait until summer to replace it

I know my insurance does comprehensive coverage but I haven't called them yet to get it replace. Going to wait till summer hit so i can starting riding my bicycle around town.

Sounds like a good idea. I didn't wait until summer to replace mine on the BRZ because it was RIGHT in my field of view. I figured I've spent $100 on stupider stuff, so $100 for a crack-free windshield was worth it. Plus it was mostly the cold snap in November that got to it and I didn't think we'd encounter any more.

So, depending on how bad the windshield crack is, it still might be worth $100 to replace it anyways. Just my $0.02.

After breakup we do a windshield weekend at the shop. Usually a windshield on a WRX/STI is about $280-$300 installed last check (last year) current prices may be better. I personally would wait until after the roads are swept a bit. I have been taking on a decent rock to the glass just about every day on the highway!

When the snow is gone and the roads are clean. We could get you in anytime but usually the more glass we do the cheaper the cost is for everyone.
