It's not hard to remove and re-install. I used to work at andrewtech so I know my way around a 5MT really well. It's just pointless since there is nothing to disassemble and no way to see the internal peices and even if you could you wouldn't be able to tell it's causing the issue.

I'm just worried that if I give the okay to tear down. They for whatever reason say "looks fine to me, we are denying you" I do not have the funds to pay to have it put back in. Because I spent my extra cash on the extended warranty

Exhaust upgrade question. Do I need an ap or a tune for the new exhaust and the new exhaust doesn't have a place for a o2 sensor. Would that throw a check light and if I just weld a spot in for the o2 would it work fine? Thanks

Removing any sensor triggers a CEL. might be able to use a resistor. Larger exhaust will cause the car to run rich, backfire and boost spike depending on whether you deleted cats and/or went 3 inch or 76 mm tubing. You can run it on the stock ECU but you would be doing so well outside of normal parameters. Unless you had to do this for some good reason, I doubt anyone would say go for it. Unless you don't care for the car. Welding in a bung is fine. Just match the stock location and angle of the sensor in the tube. Good luck.

It's a 3" catback I recently bought. I figured a bung was the way to go. For the sensor

Install the bung and you should be fine. You'll get more from a tune but you won't grenade anything. You can probably flip the reducer to mate to the OEM.

He said "catback". If thats true then no bung needed and no tune needed.
