Thumbs up Tim's 4-Pots

Hey guys it was great hanging out with you. The install went quick, since the lines and fluid were already in the car...just rotors and calipers. They're mean looking, and mean-braking too!! I like em a lot. Thanks again guys, and just gimme a call at the shop if you need more stuff done!

I couldn't believe how big a difference it made in stopping distance. After flying into that corner...

Did any of you guys see my car fishtail as Rob and I were gunning it at the stoplight? I was caught by surprise at all the wheelspin I got.

Yeah. The brakes are AMAZING! I didn't think it'd be such a difference, but WHOA!

Thanks to Rob for doing a great job, and John, the shop owner. Two REALLY cool guys. I'm taking my car there for ANY work I can't do in my garage. So Rob, when can we install an underdrive pulley?

Lee, Yeah...I was right next to you. I look over, and think...."Wow, that's a lot of wheels spin for a Subaru!"

I think it would be a SIN not to try at least ONE autocross this year, but what class would I have to run with the brakes, and wheels, and all that?

Lee, I was right behind you when it happened and all I saw was your tail end getting giddy, I was like "Damn" most of the time you only see huge HP cars take off like from a start. It looked really cool.

Justin

Thumbs up

Lee, hope the pork tenderloin experience doesn't sully your opinion of the Quarry House (or HQ as the locals call it.. yeah honey, gotta meetin up at HQ). Draught black & tan, mmm..

Tim, Steve, good to meet both of you. Justin, Lee, good to see you again.

Rob, thanks for putting up with my camera shenanigans. I'll get photos to juice and he'll post them. Tim, I'll email them to you once I've loaded them.

Q: Can someone recommend a free or shareware bitmap editor for cropping and resizing photo bitmaps (Windoze)? Products containing "Microsoft" don't count. I have very basic needs, though gamma correction would be nice.

Hey Tim, if you want some help with a pulley, let me know. I did mine, and it was simple.
