Default 03 wrx td04 stock wastegate

I need a replacement stock wastegate, but can not seem to find a source, or for that matter a PSI rating so I can just order it.

Anyone?

From what i understand the .5 bar .735psi (which they have) is only for '06 - '07

Any other places to check?

I used a 5bar today and can't hit more than 16psi with the wastegate pretension cranked. Definitely relevant. Found an old one in my shed, so swapping it out.

I have a feeling the turbo is on its way out they only seem to last 150,000 miles or so.

the difference is irrelevant...you have other issues

generally...you want yourwg spring pressure to be 1/2 or a bit more than your MAX boost pressure that you will be running......but i run 20-21psi on my td04 with the stock acuator without any issue....holds boost just fine....while it CAN that is

Yep normally it's fine. 19 psi no worries.

Started getting boost spikes, and it was the next easy thing to test. Already checked for vac leaks.

Had an 07 wastegate actuator lying around... Swapped it, no more spikes, but couldn't hit target boost. It opens too early cause it's a lighter sprung unit, it's messing w my tune.

Found a correct one in the shed, so on it goes.
