Question New WRX, Adding a CBE, Break-in Question

Hello Guys,

I just bought my Subaru over the weekend and it now has 200 miles on the odometer. I know the break in routine consists of high/low revs, varies speeds, and slight braking.

I just received my Invidia q300 CBE in the mail. I am planning on adding it today but read one post on NASIOC which said you should wait at least 1000 miles before adding a CBE...what do you guys think?

I think it would be okay since a CBE has no affects on the engine itself. Feel free to add any opinions.

Thanks.

Mike.

Cat back is a noise maker, you're fine.

Great choice for exhaust. They sound amazing once you get a DP.

Yeah lol. Until the break-in period is up of course. The stock WRX exhaust is pretty good as-is but I like a little more rumble in the bronx.

Great choice on the Invidia, installed the system on my '13 WRX at 22 miles. The sound is not loud and gives a nice little rumble with the Cobb downpipe.

Install today. baby it for 800 miles or so. Start feeding it a bit of boost as you approach 1k mark. 5k launch and 4 gear pull at 1001 miles :P
