Default 2001 RS heads

so i owqn a forester 98 and im just getting tired of it( i miss my 95 impreza coupe) and have been looking for another 1.8 to turbo but i found a 2001 RS sedan in decent shape. and thinking bout getting it now i still want the turbo but im not looking to go all out at one time. now i know the 2.5 have some over heating problems with closed decks. and head gasket problems with closed. im up in the air about taking it to machine shop and getting it semi closed but this is where you guys come should i just try and find a better set of heads or or is it worth a p/p


i would really like it if you guys could just lead me to a forum or list of specs of this head and heads i should go with if p/p cost me to much.

you wont want to try and force induce the sohc 2.5 engines. also, theyre open deck.

Your best bet is to do a motorswap in the forester, or the rs.
