Default Chu's Bugeye Wrx

Hey guys. I got a sedona red wrx a late last year, but recently was able to do enough to it to be able to post it here! Bought it off of a friend at an affordable price + monthly payments! haha. Previous car was a 1994 integra rs, so i'd say this is a very nice upgrade! haha! Heres a couple pictures!

original pic

then i added some enkei rp02's

then new tail lights and projector headlights!!

then a new front lip

debating if i should keep the lip black or paint it sedona red so yeah, lmk what you think! aha. thats about it so far! ahaha i have some hella foglights to add soon so ill update them as i go. I must say that i enjoy the subaru community alot! i reside usually in the socal area around buena park or cypress/cerritos. If you ever see me around, go ahead and shoot me a subie wave! haha thanks for checking this out!

I think you should paint the side skirts and the lip.

I have some Orciari foglight covers that I am about to sell that would make that front end look nice although I do agree that the ebay headlights and taillights add nothing.

The lip is fine, it'll look good when it's painted with the sideskirts. The headlights, if you were to go the cheap route, I would have gotten the depo jdm style headlights. The black housing will definitely make the car look better. As for the tails, it looks weird.

He mentioned earlier that he has fog lights that are about to be added to the car already. He is installing Hella 500's within the next week

These was one of the original cars of inspiration that were used in his decisions.

He really enjoyed the front lip. He wanted to get JDM headlights but it did not end up going that way.

DEPO headlights would have been preferred. The RHD cutoff would have been taken care of and the aesthetics are highly rated and iconic. He was not able to come across them anymore unfortunately.

He ended up with the single projector ebay lights and will eventually bake them and blacken them out.

yeahh personally i like the headlights, would look better when they get baked. also i was on budget so i had to make due with what i had, but they do the job and so on. The lip and sideskirts will be forsure painted. the tailights are the closest i could have come to the sti ones without changing my rear bumper in anyway. Depo's would have been nice indeed. thanks for the input tho guys, i wish i had more money to buy nicer things for my baby ahaha

you're pretty much only going to find hate for ebay products on here and for the most part I agree but the headlights are salvageable if you blacken them out and get rid of the halo's.
Though the tail lights just scream rice in my opinion and the lip goes the same way.

I'd say get some slightly wider rims, blacken headlights, stick stock tails back in, paint side skirts and front lip if you really want to keep it

There are so many v limited replicas and what not on here that are ebay products yet they are highly valued. The OP already mentioned blackening the headlights as well.

Also the ebay tail lights won't look as bad (colorful) if the bulbs are changed out for clear bulbs. The lip is the JDM STi V2 replica. It's not over the top aftermarket rice since it was a very good quality replica of an OEM unit. I guess you can still call OEM rice if you want.

He mentioned painting the body parts as well. Did you read the other posts in this thread at all? I'm not trying to come off jerk-ish but I really can't tell from the way you responded.

Very cool. Where'd you get those headlights? They look like a retrofit.

Lol they're actually eBay headlights cuz I don't have the time to retrofit my stock ones... I'm actually trying to black them out and bake them.. Do you have any experience with doing that?

go to the interior mod forum on here, there are multiple tutorials, I recently did it and it's the easiest thing in the world, just keep an eye on em in there n check them in 10 mins (mine were only in there for 10 mins)

I'd prolly go over the red part of the tail lights with whatever the 11wrx guys use on theirs, those look ricey as hell but they're only a mix of the 02-04 tails, so there's hope somehow I might jump into photoshop to check it out myself

EDIT: they look more or less stock that way but they'd light up more like a skyline when braking

They're aftermarket? Wow cuz everything looks stock albeit the headlight. So it looked like a retrofit. I need to black mine out too but I'm too much of a wimp
