Default Low load knock Explanation

Been looking into feedback knock logged by the AP. All knocks happened below 16% of throttle position, < 1.0 load, <3k rpm and below -9 of feedback knock and I came across this thread:

http://forums.evolutionm.net/evo-x-e...explained.html

I would imagine the explanation found under that thread by Travis@cobb also applies to our cars?

i get tons of knock with my 09 2.5i too. but mostly low RPM high load. i think its just overly sensitive knock sensors because i don't hear anything.
