That came out looking really good. I'll probably end up doing the same thing, because the finish on mine wasnt all that awesome.

Got my lip yesterday. Waiting for it to dry up after all this rain from the tropical storm in jersey to get it on. Hopefully have it on by tomorrow afternoon.

Also interested in a detailed DIY of what he used and his process for prepping, painting, clearing, sealing, and waxing the lip before he mounted it.

mpg is about the same as it has been

the lip has got half ripped off on several occasions and i just keep on screwin it back in and keep on goin

i AM very hard on it and the only places it is damaged is around the places where the screws pulled through

id say you would have to drag the lip down the road and grind it off to really hurt it

what the hell...it didnt cost much and wont cost much to replace

it REALLY does reduce the road noise inside the car

i think that it the best thing it does

Got mine for $47.68 shipped. Took about 45 minutes to install it. It almost fit the hole alignment of the bumper. Had to wobble a couple holes in the lip to get the bolts in.

Just broke my lip in half on a big ice nugget today, nothing a few zip ties and a hand full of extra screws couldnt fix.

If I can find one of these for $47 I'll pick it up for the spring right away, if not I'll just wait.

I was down at the Tail of the Dragon and my lip was sagging a bit so I just took it off. Will put a new one back on after winter.
