Default Help will 05 forester Struts fit on my 03 WRX

Hi everyone I'm new here, and need some help. I just pick up a full set of 05 forester Struts. Will they fit on my 03 WRX or will I need to get some parts to make it fit ? I know the spring is going to be higher so if I buy a lower spring for these struts do I need to buy them for a 03 WRX or 05 WRX. if someone could help me with this it would mean allot to me

Very interesting

Did you have to do anything special with the springs and did the fronts have enough track width? Or would they have been like using narrower wagon front struts?

forester has same track width as the sedan.

if you lift a wagon using forester struts you'll run into issues with axle length, though no one on DI has really noticed any issues.

Of course they fit but usually you need the original wrx top hats with the forester struts or you will have to drill the rear. If you just reused your original tops you did okay. It's still not exactly right though your camber/toe is probably way off as it is now.

Like scooby says you need to take it down a little if you want to get your alignment back to factory spec.... reuse your wrx springs and you should be fine. It will pull your axles if you try to align with both forester springs and struts, I only know because I'm currently working on the same issue.

01+ Foz suspension is a 100% direct bolt in for the GD chassis. no need to change rear top hats like you'll need to for the GC.
