Guys help me pick a new exhaust.

I want something under a grand or about that, and way less drone than the Q300. I was looking into the Nameless but not sure about the height of the midpipe.

Maybe just go for a nameless axleback and stick to the stock middy? You'll be way under a grand and clearance will be fine. CNT, Tsuedo, Maddad are a few catbacks that come to mind for under a grand. Although I know the CNT drones like the q300.

I'm speaking to Jason right now with Nameless so we'll see. I do still have my stock catback so I could rock the axelback but would prefer an entire catback from someone. I love the look of the Ark but hearing about the flow and the $ price tells me to stay away.

I just want something that looks badass, doesnt hang low and does ~not~ drone.

Honestly, I am just about as low as you (possibly a smidge lower) and I have had no issues with the clearance at all. The q300 midpipe actually is lower than the nameless, so I think you'll be fine. It was a concern for me as well, but I've had it on for a while now and no issues. As long as you aren't slammed on bags, it won't be an issue. The wait and price is a little bit more than one would care for, but in the end I wouldn't want anything else. Quality, customer service, and overall product is top notch. It's worth it!

Yes, the ARK is beautiful and one of the first exhausts I wanted. I had the same concerns as well, but I went with something I felt was more practical and use-able.

Debating on taking off the Q300, putting the stock back on so I can sell the Q... ugh decisions, decisions.

Megan Racing Midpipe plus Nameless Axleback will get you under 1k. I spent $800 on mine.
There are also TurboXs or Megnaflow CB well under 1k too

Did you have to roll your rears to fit those rpf1s? Im thinking of a similar setup. Thanks!

I know you said under a grand, but I would check out the ARK Performance exhaust if you're worried about drone. My girlfriend has the GRiP exhaust for her hatch and she loves it. Basically no drone but sounds really aggressive outside.

And nice car by the way haha. Looks good and nice choice of mods.

Yup, I just had the rears rolled just in case I slammed it which I never did this year but will lower it more next spring.

I've researched the hell out of that exhaust and it seems to be 50/50 for issues and or people liking the exhaust.

I might be driving to NJ for an exhaust soon, we'll see how that goes

Must be a) a good deal, b) a first choice exhaust, or c) both if you're coming way down here for it.

I like the stance of the wrx. Purposeful yet stylish. Love the color combo of blue wrx with gold wheels.

Mentioned in in someone else's thread too, but autumn provides a great photo environment.

So did end up coming down to jersey for that exhaust?

Don't think I've commented on your build thread, looks really nice man! Love the RPF1s and the color combo is sweet. Saw that you might change up the color?? Bold choice!

Yeah I'm gonna be debating the color all winter since it's they will be off till next spring eventually. I think I want to keep these wheels as they are so light and I would rather paint/powder these things then get different wheels, be unique somewhat.
