Thumbs up Hood lining?

Hey All
I was wondering if anyone has done or their past experience with like an aftermarket hood liner?

my mind nothing like popping the hood, and the liner be red(or other) with branded STI on it..or any verbage one chooses.

What u all think?!!?

sounds like you have a plan. you should follow through with it! Dynamat sells adhesive foam that is advertised to do the same thing as the OEM. You may be able to find a comparable material and do it that way. OH and paint plus stencils for the STi logo or whatever you end up doing.

I've seen it done on muscle/older cars before. I always personally just take mine out.

Right, thats where i got the idea from!!

Myself i tend to go left when people go right. but if it doesnt work or function then my ego isnt big enough to accept it.

but maybe some ideas from members on what to display...be cool to go to local hang outs with subies and pop my hood and display it...gets me excited just think of it.
