Question My Car Hates The Heat!

I have an 03 WRX. For three summers now as soon as the temp gets over 90 outside my car goes into safe mode. I have tried all kinds of stuff to fix it,(new front 02 sensor, new MAF, cleaned IAC, used seafoam to try to knock out the carbon build up, new spark plugs) During the cooler times of the year there is no problem but yesterday I was driving on the 101 and looked at the boost gauge and was only getting 7 pounds, waiste gate open! Does this happen to anyone else? Any suggestions on a fix?

Total n00b question: Does my car have a safe mode? If so, how will I know if it's engaged or not?

YOUR CAR WONT BE BOOSTING CORRECTLY

it happens... alls you have to do is reset your ecu.... take the negative terminal off of your battery for a few min. then reconnect... you should be good to go. unless you have other issues.

we have seen this happen lately a few times.... cars from higher elavations and cars that were driven long distances have been found to not have "adjusted" for az. in that case just reset your ecu. I personally have seen people come in and tell me that their car is stock cept for their exhaust and i find that their green test connectors are connected. i ask if they had recently flash their AP and at first they deny it then i give em the wutchoo talkin bout willis look, and they usually fess up to it after that.

Thats when you laugh in their face and tell to RTFM next time, and say that telling the truf will get you further.

New update...drove the car for 500 miles with the new computer and now the issue has returned. It seemed fine for a while and then....bam, waste gate boost level. Going to take it to the tuner again now that I have a new computer not locked by Ecutek.
