Is it broken? And do you want a new motor or a NEW motor? And do you want it to be stock or to be built?

You can look on the Classifieds section on this forum and other forums for engines. You can use car-part.com to look up used engines in your area. You can talk to vendors on here about buying a built engine. You can get your stock motor rebuilt. You can keep driving your stock motor.

But really, there's only one sensible thing to be done. Build an EG33 twin turbo and drop it in. Nothing else makes sense, unless you're thinking LSX and RWD. That makes sense.

tibug - legendary response. thank you dude

I understand that the ej207 is almost impossible to find longblock , as its such an old motor

I don't want a NEW motor because theyre expensive. maybe just a new motor with under 50k on it

would love an entire motor

Damn, I was trying to find the product page for a cosworth block from FastWRX.com, but it's not up any more.

I would point you toward salvage yards or the whole car part out section of the for sale forums here.

Edit: you might also think about going to a 2.5L, it'll be easier to find, but alot of people say the 2.0's are smoother.

2.0 requires least amount of swapping. I would love a new 2.0

I disagree, these sorts of threads should fall way way down in the list of threads, so that users in the future can search and find the answers without posting again.

Of course, that mfox guy would just go digging up all the old **** and the system breaks down.
