That road simulates pikes peak pretty well, except pikes has curbs most the way up.

cant believe they are doing it again after so many years. commercial values might be a bit low for them since it's in the U.S.

The car is in Colorado! It was on the Dyno at Revolutions Performance today. Set a new awdhp record for this Dyno. It really wants to make more power too. At 1.6 bat it made 698. At 2.0 bar it jumped to 817. This would be well over 1000 Dyno jet corrected for reference. Words don't do this car justice. Loeb is here to learn the road and for official testing on the peak Saturday and Sunday.

For you metric folks.

4 of these should provide good traction

Yes we met before.

Peugeot and Loeb shattered the record to glen cove today. 3:29 (twice) old record of 3:56 last year by the Dacia team. Wow! Probably not official since its testing. If the Dacia was in fact on a 9:30 pace before wrecking I would say 8:59 is possible.

Nice, hopefully they don't get taken out by a gopro.

Is that a gtr engine like the renault was using?

Nissan Renault and Dacia are the same company so the GTR was used for the Dacia duster No limit.

Peugeot use a Peugeot engine.

Loeb will make it bellow 9mn one way or an other, If the car does not throw a second clutch during the race event. I'm pretty sure that they replace the clutch after each use "just in case".

Peugeot has one of the best racing engineering in the world. This is what the Pikes Peak t16 is based on!

Nice. The engine looks similar to the renaults, are the ic front mounted? I don't see any in the rear and it looks to have piping leading to the front.

looks like no IC to me.

In the front are 2 separate radiators and a 3 small oil cooler type.

No tubing to the front and no radiators in the back !!

The drivers area is a tub with tunnels down each side. The ic's are vertically mounted in plane with the back firewall at the end of each of these tunnels. Very impressive design element. Charge pipes are very short due to this. I will look and see if I got a picture that shows them.

Better pictures of the brakes

You can see the tub and tunnels in these pictures. The fuel tank is in the cockpit just to the right of the driver.

Looking at the car from the front the larger rad on the left is coolant. The slightly smaller one on the right is oil. The very small one in the center appears to be power steering.
