Are there any other BRZ owners here? Ive seen quite a few FRS's running around phoenix but have only seen one other BRZ.

Its a shame we don't see more of them. However I haven't seen a BRZ for under 30k and that's the main reason why. My friend was going to trade in a 2011 M3 on one but the dealer wouldn't sell it to him for less than 31k.

I got lucky when i bought mine. I bought it used with only 2k miles on it from a retired airforce colonel in vegas for only $23k.

To be really honest both the BRZ/FRS are overpriced and overrated. There are so many better options in that price range and configuration.... lightly used Honda s2k anyone?

Opinion. I seriously doubt the car would do near as well in every single shoot out and reveiw if it wasn't a great car for its intended purpose (hint: it's not power output). While my time with each is limited, I felt the FRS was every bit as composed and fun as the 08 S2K Club Sport I drove. Both great cars; the FRS chassis was GOOD. But one you can't get new with a warranty anymore. One thing is for sure: the FRS chassis beat the HELL out of ANY WRX/STi I've driven to date, new or old. Impressive.

What other better new cars fall in it's class and price range? Genesis? Miata? What makes them better in your opinion?

I drive a BRZ limited. I'm up in flagstaff though.
