Default '14 vs '15 Differences?

So I have been looking around for a while now since buying my '15 Impreza to try and see if anything is different from the '14 to the '15. Main reason is because when I look for an accessory or part or something at any shop or website, it's always for '14 and earlier (I figured this would be the case since '15 is so new).

So I am curious if anyone on here knows just how much is different from the '14 to the '15? I am just hoping to get an idea of how many parts/accessories for the '14 would fit the '15 still before I spend any money.

Thanks in advance :3

Most internal parts should still be the same, not sure about things like the bumper or interior like seats and shifter or whatever.

This should have all the info you are looking for.
http://www.cars101.com/subaru/impreza/impreza2015.html

Part fitment should be nearly identical minus the changes listed at the site referenced above.

I don't understand the "new headlights" that every update list shows. I've seen them in person and they look no different.

I was actually thinking the same thing. I havent seen a '15 in person, but from every photo I've seen of one, the headlights are identical to the '12-'14 MY.

Same here. I was looking at a sport premium at the auto show this past weekend. Unless they tuned the reflector a little more to get more light output or something.

2015 has better looking front bumper IMO. However I'd like to see someone with the 12-14 bumper with the optional moldings to see if that looks better than the 15 bumper.

Subaru states the '15 Impreza headlight is redesigned to look more like the '15 Legacy...not sure how that's the case, as they look the same as 12-14 to me too

Moldings? You mean the front underspoiler? I have them on mine.

Love the car! He's either referring to the '12-'14 undersplitter on the '15 or the new foglight bezel treatment.

As a random side note, I'm loving my '14, but between the updates to the '15 and the fact that I can get a '14 Focus ST for Impreza Sport money I'm wishing I had waited six months.

I hear ya. I wanted a Subaru, I wanted AWD, and it had to be new. But I don't have roughly $30k to spend on a Limited WRX. I'd get the limited just for the headlights..

But with that said, I love this car too. It's handling more than makes up for its lack of power. At least for me it does. Although I have serious jealousy issues when I see a new WRX on the road haha.

Yes underspoilers. They look pretty sweet. Would love to see yours next to a 15 bumper. Now with the addition of the underspoilers the accessory catalog says you can't fit the STi Front Lip (which isn't an option for the 15 at all) Does someone make a front lip that would fit your underspoilers/my 15 bumper?

I love my '14 as well. Most of the '15 updates don't do much for me. My plan is to keep this around as the daily driver up to and after I get it paid off, then look for a play toy.

I don't think so. There's hardly any aftermarket support for these cars asthetics wise. I'd assume the only way to fit a lip with the underspoiler would be to cut something up and make a custom one.

@millertime: I have the same plan. Gonna run this Impreza into the ground then pick up a used 2015. And the only update from the 15 Impreza 2.0i I'd like is the "updated steering".

Good point, forgot about that one. I mean, the increased thickness of the glass and and improved noise dampening would be nice too, but I can (and plan to) add the noise dampening myself.

The new headlights have a solid led "eyebrow" instead of the bulb we are so familiar with. The sti lip does not fit with the front underspoiler because the underspoiler uses the mounting holes, and does not have additional mounting holes, also slightly changes the shape around the bottom. The only front lip I have seen for less than $400 is the garage door seal method, or I know a '12 owner that cut up an ebay '15 wrx lip, its the same shape, you just need to cut 2" from the center and epoxy it back together.

I will say the garage door seal looks good when combined with the underspoiler
